Five-time world champion Lewis Hamilton beat Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel to pole position at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Hamilton won the drivers' title, but the constructors' prize remains a mighty battle. Mercedes lead Ferrari by 55 points with a possible 86 available in the final two races.
