Hamilton won his fifth world Formula One championship at the Mexican GP and two weeks later he secured the constructors' title for Mercedes.

The British driver became one of the most successful pilots of all-time. He moves level with Juan Manuel Fangio on five career titles, but Michael Schumacher holds the record with seven title.

"I want to continue to help elevate Mercedes to make them the most successful team of all-time," said Lewis.

Mercedes won its fifth Formula One constructors' world championship in a row at the Brazilian GP.

"I try to do my best and I’m proud that I’m able to help my team. They give me the tools and we work hard together to reach our goals, " explained the 33-year-old driver.
